About homemade iced tea and shampoo...

Allow me to introduce you to one of my favorite (non-alcoholic) drinks: the homemade iced tea @ Mappa Mundo, a bar in the Brussels' Saint Géry quarter. There are bars aplenty in this part of Brussels, but I often go to Mappa Mondu, for this particular drink.

How can I describe this drink tastewise? It's an ice cold tea, with hints of citrus fruits, ginger and spices (cinnamon?). I really don't have a clue what it is exactly they put in there, but it sure tastes good!! If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, you can always try one of their cocktails (I highly recommend the mojito and raspberry daiquiri)

Poster I liked @Mappa

A minor downside however is that the quality of the drinks depends largely on the bartender's skills. Last Sunday I ended up with a rather disappointing iced tea with a strange more peachy flavour... Just try your luck!

I recently discoverd that Lush sells a shampoo that smells exactly like Mappa's home made iced tea. It's called "I love juicy" and according to the bottle has mango, pineapple, kiwi and papaya in it. I think it has more of a citrus-y smell. This shampoo doesn't have the most appealing colour, but I'am a huge fan. Your hair will smell great!

Available @Lush stores (14,95 euro voor 250g)
