Sunday evening we went to sunny Antwerp with some friends to grab a bite. Had a very good pizza @Bar Italia. Great food in great company = a great way to end the weekend. Here are some pictures!

The BF went a little overboard...

Gisteren las ik op Belmodo.tv over de totale uitverkoop wegens verhuizing van Pronails: een must voor alle nail polish lovers out there! Ik ken dit Belgische merk eigenlijk niet zo goed, maar was wel nieuwsgierig. Helaas is Schoten toch wat uit de richting... Mijn vriendje werkte gisteren evenwel in Berchem dus ik polste voorzichtig of hij misschien eens wou gaan kijken of het de moeite was.
Yesterday Miss Tiany posted about the stock sales of the Belgian nailpolish brand Pronails on Belmodo.be. Even though I wasn't really familiar with the brand, I was somewhat curious. My BF was working in the neighbourhood so I kindly asked him to go check it out for me.

Modelvriendje als hij is, begaf hij zich ter plaatse. De stakker bevond zich tussen allemaal meisjes, waaronder blijkbaar veel schoonheidsspecialistes, en tonnen nagellak en nageltools allerhande. Ik had gezegd dat ik wel een mooi geel lakje wou maar dat hij niet al te wild moest gaan. Resultaat: hij ging helemaal los en kwam thuis met massieve hoeveelheden nagellak en andere producten.
Being the perfect BF that he is, he drove over there. He must have felt somewhat out of place in a room full of girls - a lot of them beauticians- and nailpolish :). I requested a pretty yellow polish but told him not to buy too much stuff. The result: he went totally overboard and brought back a massive stash of nailpolishes and products.

The result of his little shopping spree! :)

Ik ben een wandelend cliché maar schoenen moeten zowat mijn favoriete fashion-item zijn.
It's a cliché but I am a shoe-addict. They are without a doubt my favourite fashion items.

Mijn eigen collectie heeft geen Carrie Bradshaw-eske proporties, al vindt mijn vriendje het zo ook al behoorlijk decadent. Desalniettemin leek het mij een leuk idee om enkele van mijn favorieten te delen.
I don't own a massive collection of shoes, although I'm sure my boyfriend would beg to differ. Nonetheless it seemed like a nice idea to introduce you to some of my favourite pairs.

My parents bought me the "Bohemian Brights"-collection on their recent trip to New York. Sephora and OPI have joined forces once again to create this mini nail polish collection perfect for spring and the upcoming festival season.

About homemade iced tea and shampoo...

Mag ik u voorstellen aan één van mijn favoriete (non-alcoholische) drankjes: de huisgemaakte iced tea van Mappa Mundo, een café in de Brusselse Sint-Goriksbuurt. Aan café's is in dit deel van Brussel overigens geen gebrek, maar vaak kies ik voor 'de Mappa' omwille van de geweldige 'thé glacé maison'.

Allow me to introduce you to one of my favorite (non-alcoholic) drinks: the homemade iced tea @ Mappa Mundo, a bar in the Brussels' Saint Géry quarter. There are bars aplenty in this part of Brussels, but I often go to Mappa Mondu, for this particular drink.
